A Prostate Cancer Awareness Event was successfully held in Kyperounta, organized by the Community Council of Kyperounta in collaboration with the Women’s Café.
The event took place at the traditional café “Kafes sti Hovoli” and was attended by both women and men from the community. The President, Vice President, and members of the Kyperounta Community Council were also present, highlighting the importance of local initiatives in promoting health awareness.
The event was honored by the presence of the Director of Troodos Hospital, Dr. Marinos Lemesios, who shared an important message on the value of prevention and the critical role of early diagnosis in the effective management of prostate cancer.
Europa Uomo Cyprus was represented by its Press and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Stelios Kyriakou, who emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and the need to encourage men to take proactive steps toward their health.
Special mention should be made of the contribution of women, who, through their care and sensitivity, often play a key role in informing and motivating men to undergo the necessary preventive examinations.
