THE DEPARTMENT OF ANTIQUITIES LIGHTS UP THE CASTLES OF PAPHOS AND LARNACA IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PANCYPRIAN AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR THE PROSTATE CANCER WITH THE TITLE BLUE NOVEMBER
The Department of Antiquities, of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that as part of the Pancyprian Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign, which is carried out by the Europa Uomo Cyprus association for the entire month of November, will illuminate Paphos Castles and Larnaca on Friday, November 5, 2021.
The main goal of the information month Blue November is to raise public awareness of the need for early diagnosis and prevention of prostate cancer, as well as provide information on the available treatment methods. In the context of the social policy implemented by the Department of Antiquities, through the lighting of Ancient Monuments, it is with great pleasure that it participates in the information and awareness actions of Blue November.
We hope that through the variety of awareness actions planned by the Europa Uomo Cyprus association, the public will be informed about the disease and a message of support will be sent to all the vulnerable groups of the population.
