Between the dates of October 22–24, following an invitation from Europa Uomo Malta and The Marygold Foundation, a delegation from Europa Uomo Cyprus—comprising Yiannos Giorgallis and Stelios Kyriakou, members of the association, as well as Clinical Psychologist Zoe Mitrouska from the German Medical Institute—participated in a meaningful roundtable discussion on prostate cancer.
During their stay in Malta, the delegation members had the distinct honor of meeting Malta’s Minister of Health, Mr. Jo Etienne Abela. They also appeared on the country’s national television, thereby contributing to the public discourse on this critical health issue.
This honorable invitation carries great significance for us, as the work of Europa Uomo Cyprus is being recognized by other European countries. This serves as a strong motivation for us to continue our efforts. As members of the European coalition Europa Uomo, such meetings provide us with the opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen our bonds, building a shared space for action and collaboration. Our common goal remains early prevention, public awareness, and improving the quality of life for patients—a goal that transcends borders.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Michelle Muscat and her entire team for their warm hospitality and commend the outstanding work they carry out with dedication. We are confident that our collaboration will continue, leaving a substantial impact in the fight for a better life without compromises to health and dignity.
